We want to thank this year\u2019s program chairs, Alessandra Fogli\u00a0and Elena Manresa, who have put together an amazing conference. We also want to thank the local chair Joan Llull, who has planned this for\u00a02020, then 2021,&#8230;and it is finally happening!.\u00a0\u00a0Plenary speakers will be Veronica Guerrieri\u00a0(Chicago Booth), Lars Hansen\u00a0(University of Chicago), and Stefanie Stantcheva\u00a0(Harvard University).\u00a0\u00a0We recommend that people check out\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/david-alegre.com\/repo-sed\/sedam_2023\/\">our website<\/a>\u00a0and go to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/evento.uniandes.edu.co\/en\/sed-2023\">local information<\/a>\u00a0for details on visa requirements, accommodations, and events.<\/p>\n<p>We are also happy to report that this 2024 Summer conference in Barcelona will be the largest in our history, as was the number of submissions. In light of this, and to be able to accommodate more good papers, we decided to organize an extra Winter meeting in December this year.\u00a0 We do not want to take Winter too seriously, so the conference will be organized by Universidad Di Tella, in Buenos Aires, from December 12th to the 14th.\u00a0 We are very pleased to announce that Sebastian Di Tella and Mike Waugh have agreed to chair this first Winter meeting. As it turns out, the Economics Department of Di Tella celebrates\u00a0its 30th birthday this year, and you are all invited to submit your new paper to the party!<\/p>\n<p>But Summer eventually follows Winter, and we are also very happy to announce\u00a0that Julieta Caunedo and Kurt Mitman will chair the Summer Meetings in Copenhagen in 2025. And many thanks to the local organizers: Jeppe Druedahl, S\u00f8ren Hove Ravn, Morten Graugaard Olsen and John Vincent Kramer.
